Baseball Recap: Central Woodstock Falcons vs. Luray Bulldogs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Strasburg, Central Woodstock was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Luray Bulldogs. This was payback for Central Woodstock, who suffered a 10-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Isaac Barb tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Christian Kelican, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
