Softball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ferris can now relate to. They came up short against the Kamiakin Braves on Tuesday, falling 14-0. The Saxons were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Braves' pitchers proved too tough.

The loss snapped Ferris' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-12 record. As for Kamiakin, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Looking ahead, Ferris will challenge Gonzaga Prep on Friday. The Saxons are facing the Bullpups at the right time seeing as the Bullpups are stuck on a 21-game losing streak. Kamiakin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
