Volleyball Recap: Hagerman Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Hagerman waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Murtaugh Red Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Hagerman was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-16, 27-29, 21-25, 25-19, 15-4.

Ava Chizum paced Hagerman's offense, picking up 16 kills. Chizum got some help from Alexis Beutler and her 44 assists. Chizum was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hagerman's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Murtaugh, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hagerman is set to challenge their familiar foe Lighthouse Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Murtaugh will square off against rival Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
