Basketball Game Preview: Shoreland Lutheran Pacers vs. The Prairie School Hawks

The Shoreland Lutheran Pacers are taking a road trip to take on The Prairie School Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Shoreland Lutheran came up short against Martin Luther on Tuesday, falling 67-42. While losing is never fun, the Pacers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Spartans are ranked 107th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for The Prairie School, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past St. Thomas More 57-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted since December 7, 2024.

The Prairie School's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Shoreland Lutheran came out on top in a nail-biter against The Prairie School in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 49-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shoreland Lutheran since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
