Baseball Game Preview: Scott Highlanders vs. Clarkrange Buffaloes

The Scott Highlanders will face off against the Clarkrange Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Scott is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight games dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 11-5 to York Institute.

Meanwhile, Clarkrange came up short against Livingston Academy on Thursday, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Clarkrange, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Scott got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against Clarkrange by a conclusive 14-8 score. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Buffaloes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
