Softball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-2 to the Franklin Tornadoes. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 24-10 to the Tornadoes when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Franklin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Farmington and Franklin will both be playing Newmarket the next time they take the field. The Tornadoes will head out to face the Mules at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on May 5.
