Christ Covenant had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pitt County P Pacers a 6-0 shutout. Dylan Cook was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Christ Covenant's win bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Pitt County P, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Christ Covenant will challenge rival Community Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pitt County P is set to take on their familiar foe Faith Christian Academy on Friday.
