 After a string of three wins, the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Pender, falling  51-19. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Bancroft-Rosalie has scored all season.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bancroft-Rosalie  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only two  assists. That's the fewest  assists they've managed all season.
 Pender found their leader in underclassman  Madalyn Dolliver, who  scored 18 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals. Dolliver is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last four games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hadley Walsh, who  scored 11 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Bancroft-Rosalie's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Pender, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-1.
 Bancroft-Rosalie will head out on the road to  challenge  Johnson-Brock at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Johnson-Brock is coming into the  contest with 11 straight  wins at home,  so Bancroft-Rosalie is out to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for Pender, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Sandy Creek at 6:00  p.m.  on February 23rd. Hopefully Pender focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up five on Thursday.
