If Somonauk/Leland beats Earlville with 51 points on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Somonauk/Leland walked away with a 51-39 victory over Indian Creek on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Meanwhile, Earlville got the win against Alden-Hebron on Wednesday by a conclusive 47-21.

Somonauk/Leland is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-15 record this season. As for Earlville, their win bumped their record up to 9-18.
