Archbishop Hoban faced Magnificat in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Blue Streaks. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 18-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Kailey Snow was a one-woman wrecking crew For Magnificat. as she had 26 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Snow a new career-high in assists (nine). Another player making a difference was Lindsey Murphy, who had nine digs and one assist.

Archbishop Hoban's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Magnificat, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Hoban will take on Olentangy Orange at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Magnificat, they will challenge Jackson at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
