Basketball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Lafayette Lancers came up short against the Park Hill South Panthers and fell 57-44.

Lafayette's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-10. As for Park Hill South, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Lafayette will challenge Lindbergh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Park Hill South, they will head out to face off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Liberty's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
