Meanwhile, Fayette scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Missouri Military Academy as Fayette made off with a 17-2 victory. The win was some much needed relief for Fayette as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kaleb Friebe was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Friebe was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Payton Oeth, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ethan Bean, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Paris' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fayette, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.
