Volleyball Recap: Corcoran Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Corcoran entered their tilt with Orosi on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Corcoran walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-19.

Natalie Luna had a dynamite game, getting 23 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Alexis Guerra, who had 17 digs.

The victory got Corcoran back to even at 8-8-2. As for Orosi, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-18.

Looking ahead, Corcoran will take on Mt. Whitney in a tournament on Saturday. As for Orosi, they will head out to challenge Parlier at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
