Soccer Recap: Buckley Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Buckley's offense. They came up short against the Marquette Sentinels on Saturday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Buckley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 295th, while Marquette are ranked 74th).

Buckley has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season. As for Marquette, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3-2.

Buckley has already played their next contest (against Suttons Bay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Marquette, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Iron Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
