Baseball Recap: Daniel Boone Takes a Loss

Daniel Boone lost against Elder back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trailblazers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Daniel Boone saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clay Rowland, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Daniel Boone has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-7-1 record this season. As for Elder, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.

Coming up, Daniel Boone will venture away from home to take on West Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elder, they will welcome La Salle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Lancers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
