It was a good run, but Richwoods unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Lincoln Railsplitters by a score of 10-9. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Railsplitters apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2017.

Richwoods' loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-15 record this season.

Richwoods will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Metamora at 7:00 p.m. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to challenge Rantoul at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
