The Bogue Chitto Bobcats will take on the Tylertown Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bogue Chitto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bogue Chitto took on Lawrence County on Saturday. Bogue Chitto fell 8-5 to Lawrence County. The Bobcats have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Bogue Chitto saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julie Leggett, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Harper Kyzar was another, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Even though they lost, Bogue Chitto hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Tylertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Loyd Star, falling 17-2.

Bogue Chitto's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tylertown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
