Soccer Recap: Redeemer Christian Comes Up Short

Redeemer Christian and Academy at the Lakes squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Redeemer Christian had to settle for second. They lost 4-0 to the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Lions struggled afterwards.

This is the second loss in a row for Redeemer Christian and nudges their season record down to 13-8-1. As for Academy at the Lakes, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3-2 record this season.

Redeemer Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Academy at the Lakes, they will challenge Community Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Community Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.
