Baseball Recap: Merrillville Comes Up Short

Merrillville lost against Chesterton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates lost 10-1 to the Trojans.

Merrillville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaleb Henry, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Merrillville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chesterton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Merrillville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
