Sierra Vista came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 46-26 margin over the Baldwin Park Braves. Given the Dons' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Braves are ranked 640th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sierra Vista's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Baldwin Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11-2.
