Soccer Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Geneva can now relate to. They lost 9-1 to Pine on Friday. Geneva was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pine apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Geneva's goal came courtesy of Camila Cabito, who's now up to 20 this season.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Pine, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pine, they will take on Victory Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Pine's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last nine games.
