Basketball Recap: Crofton Triumphs

On Tuesday, Crofton beat the Parkdale Panthers 61-51.

Parkdale lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jairus Giray, who posted 13 points. Those 13 points gave Giray a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Wilson, who had 14 points and five rebounds.

The victory got Crofton back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crofton will host Severna Park at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkdale, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Parkdale Panthers duke it out with the DuVal Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
