Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Comes Up Short

Cheyenne had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moapa Valley Pirates. The Desert Shields haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Among those leading the charge was Chloe Dalley, who had six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Cheyenne has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Centennial on the 15th. As for Moapa Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mojave on the 15th.
