Football Game Recap: Whale Branch vs. Ridgeland/Hardeeville

Whale Branch had a rough outing against May River last week, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Whale Branch walked away with a 37-26 victory.

Whale Branch's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 24 points in the first half. Ridgeland/Hardeeville came up with 7 to make it 24-7 heading into the break. Whale Branch were outperformed in the second half 13-19 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win bumped their record up to 3-1. The loss dropped Ridgeland/Hardeeville back to even at 2-2.

Whale Branch will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Philip Simmons in two weeks at 7:30 PM. As for Ridgeland/Hardeeville, they will face off against Hilton Head.
