If Lyle/Wishram was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Horizon Christian on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the Sherman Huskies on Friday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lyle/Wishram's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Sherman, they moved to 12-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.
