Canyon entered their tilt with Great Oak on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Wolfpack. This was payback for the Comanches, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Great Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1.

Looking ahead, Canyon will square off against El Modena at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comanches 2.8, the Vanguards 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Great Oak, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Murrieta Valley at 3:30 p.m. The Nighthawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Wolfpack surely won't give up without a fight.
