Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Brown

Brown won against Shawnee last Monday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Brown was the clear victor by a 15-7 margin over the Francis Parker Wyverns. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won three matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Oscar Wright made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over 4.1 innings pitched. Wright was also big at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jamison Calloway, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-5. Another player making a difference was Eric Thronton, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI.

Brown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
