Lakeview is 8-2 against Scotus since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Scotus will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Lakeview extended their winning streak to six on Friday. The Vikings blew past Wayne 55-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scotus). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Schuyler 76-9. The victory continues a trend for the Shamrocks in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

Lakeview better keep an eye on Thomas Settje. He was instrumental in Scotus' win, rushing for 163 yards and three scores on only ten carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Settje a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Wessel, who rushed for eight yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Scotus was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 340 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Scotus, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Lakeview was able to grind out a solid win over Scotus in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 14-7. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Shamrocks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
