Basketball Game Preview: Clarksville Generals vs. Austin Eagles

Clarksville is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Austin a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Clarksville Generals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Austin Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Clarksville had to suffer through a 62-26 loss at the hands of Borden.

Meanwhile, Austin hadn't done well against North Harrison recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Austin came out on top against North Harrison by a score of 53-51 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since January 18th.

Austin's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Clarksville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.

Clarksville was able to grind out a solid victory over Austin when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 82-74. Does Clarksville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Austin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
