Varela entered their tilt with Keys Gate on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Vipers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Varela never let Keys Gate on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 25-16.

Luke Ieremia paced Varela's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ieremia got some help from Gabriel Ramos and his 15 assists. Ieremia was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

Varela pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Keys Gate, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Varela didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Southridge on the 29th. As for Keys Gate, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Somerset Academy South Homestead on the 29th.
