Basketball Game Preview: Pocahontas County Warriors vs. East Hardy Cougars

Pocahontas County hasn't had much luck against East Hardy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Pocahontas County Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the East Hardy Cougars at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Pocahontas County came up short against Union and fell 43-30. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, East Hardy entered their tilt with Frankfort on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with eight. They enjoyed a cozy 68-51 win over the Falcons. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-point performance the matchup before.

East Hardy pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points over those games. As for Pocahontas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
