Baseball Recap: 12 Straight Home Victories for Denver Christian

While Denver Christian put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Byers. The Thunder put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 11-0 win. The Thunder might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

James Lord made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. That double was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nate Bovasso, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Patrick Elson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
