Football Game Preview: Goleman Gators vs. Carol City Chiefs + Official Tickets

The Goleman Gators are taking a road trip to challenge the Carol City Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Goleman nor Carol City posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

On Friday, Goleman came up short against Western and fell 14-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Gators in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Carol City and North Miami Beach were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Carol City suffered a 14-13 loss.

Goleman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Carol City, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Goleman came up short against Carol City in their previous meeting back in August of 2021, falling 40-36. Can the Gators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
