Jett Goldsberry Goes Supernova in Heritage Hills Victory

Jett Goldsberry was instrumental in extending Heritage Hills's winning streak to seven on Friday. Goldsberry did his part (and then some), throwing for 133 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 61 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up 0.5 sacks, making five total tackles, and defending a pass.

Washington's probably not too fond of Goldsberry given he always seems to get the better of them. When Goldsberry last faced the Hatchets back in October of 2023, he threw for 141 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Drake Cox's Rushing Yards a New Career-High

Drake Cox posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Princeton dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Cox and Princeton will square off against Vincennes Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Meredith also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making seven total tackles and defending a pass.

A Season-Best Performance from Tyler Ruxer Leads Heritage Hills over Washington

Tyler Ruxer produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Heritage Hills to the win on Friday. Ruxer picked up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 53 yards.

For the season, Ruxer has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 61.2 receiving yards per game.

Davis Came Up Big in Boonville's 42-14 Loss

Rounding off our Top Five is Grant Davis of Boonville. Davis rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 59 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

Davis and Boonville will challenge Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Davis up against the Hatchets' star quarterback Colton Stowers. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
