Baseball Recap: Pawhuska Finds Home Field Redemption Against Yale

There's no place like home for Pawhuska, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let the Yale Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Thursday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jadon Spicer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Pawhuska got a massive performance out of Logan Cass, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Cass a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Vann Wildcat, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Pawhuska's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Yale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Pawhuska will face off against Rejoice Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Yale, they will take on Woodland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
