Basketball Game Preview: Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters vs. Frankford Pioneers

The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Frankford Pioneers at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Abraham Lincoln lost to Conwell-Egan Catholic on the road by a 76-62 margin.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Dajon Smith, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kyle Carter, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Frankford was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 47-43 to Hatboro-Horsham.

Frankford now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Abraham Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Abraham Lincoln couldn't quite finish off Frankford when the teams last played back in December of 2022 and fell 47-44. Can the Railsplitters avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
