Volleyball Recap: Red Mountain Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Ella Sullivan and Rihanna Brooks

Red Mountain saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Snowflake Lobos.

Rihanna Brooks and Ella Sullivan certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Brooks had 18 assists and nine digs, while Sullivan had 11 digs and one assist. Brooks is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season.

Snowflake found their leader in sophomore Lucy Lyman, who had eight digs and two aces.

Red Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Snowflake, the victory also got them back to even at 5-5.

Red Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Shadow Ridge on the 9th. As for Snowflake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Westwood on the 6th.
