Football Recap: White County Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

White County extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Cole Sims. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 31-7 margin over the DeKalb County Tigers on Friday for which the team can thank Sims, who rushed for 194 yards and two TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

White County's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for DeKalb County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

White County and DeKalb County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Warriors see the field they'll take on Upperman at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for DeKalb County, their break will end when they face Stone Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
