Adams City hasn't had much luck against Vista PEAK Prep recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Nayely Duran and Nia Mathis did most of the damage at the plate: Duran got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and a stolen base, while Mathis scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Renzi, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Adams City now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
