Recap: Seagoville Dragons vs. Kimball Knights
It was a good run, but The Seagoville Dragons unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 21-14 to Kimball. Seagoville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kimball apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Armirie Williams-Hall was the offensive standout of the match as he threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns.
Seagoville's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Kimball, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Seagoville will head out on the road to face off against South Oak Cliff at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in South Oak Cliff's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six contests. As for Kimball, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Wilson at 7:00 p.m. Wilson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 564th, while Kimball is ranked 246th).
