Basketball Recap: New Town Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

New Town lost to Turtle Mountain back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The New Town Eagles came out on top against the Turtle Mountain Braves by a score of 77-69.

New Town is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.9 points over those games. Turtle Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Looking ahead, New Town will head out to challenge Nedrose at 7:15 p.m. on February 28th. New Town is facing Nedrose at the right time seeing as Nedrose is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Turtle Mountain, they will be playing at home against Dunseith at 4:15 a.m. on Friday.
