On Friday, Kapaun Mt. Carmel strolled past the Trailblazers with points to spare, taking the game 56-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kapaun Mt. Carmel.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lizzie Romer led the charge by scoring 14 points. Another player making a difference was McCoy Phister, who scored 13 points.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game.
