Meanwhile, Wilmington posted their biggest victory since November 24, 2023 on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 56-24 win over Clinton-Massie. The Hurricane pushed the score to 54-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.

Western Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Wilmington, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.

Western Brown strolled past Wilmington in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 62-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Western Brown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
