Football Game Preview: Parkway West Longhorns vs. Pattonville Pirates

The Parkway West Longhorns are taking a road trip to take on the Pattonville Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parkway West's defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so Pattonville's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Parkway West was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 19-14 to Parkway North. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Pattonville not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 1, 2024 (when they won 57-18). They blew past Hazelwood Central 43-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Pattonville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Parkway West, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Parkway West barely slipped by Pattonville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 28-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
