On Monday Mackenzie Kimmons tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off ten hits. The effort also marked the most strikeouts (three) Kimmons has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with less than one earned run. This season, she has an ERA of 1.05 over 13.3 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Cedar Bluff Tigers face off against Sand Rock Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
