Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crandall). They put the hurt on the Kaufman Lions with a sharp 81-55 win on Friday. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Pirates had established a 22 point advantage.

Lebron Mckelvy continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine assists. He has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Dylan Franklin was another key player, going 6 for 10 on his way to 22 points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Crandall was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Crandall's record is now 7-13. As for Kaufman, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12.
