Volleyball Recap: New York Mills Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

New York Mills kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Frazee Hornets. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New York Mills will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lake Park-Audubon at 7:30 p.m. on September 8. As for Frazee, they will head out to take on East Grand Forks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
