Amaya Moreno Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Monday, Mountain Pointe got the W thanks in part to Amaya Moreno playing the best football she has all season. Moreno threw for 434 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.1% of her passes, and also rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown. Mountain Pointe is undefeated when Moreno posts 300 or more passing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Moreno's next matchup is against Notre Dame Prep on Wednesday, where she'll look to repeat that solid performance. Moreno will face off against Lily McCracken on Wednesday, the Saints' star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Breana Saunders put up the most rushing yards she's had since back in October of 2023 on Thursday. She threw for 335 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. She also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making a tackle and defending a pass in addition to snagging two interceptions which she returned for a touchdown.

The victory was the third in a row for Millennium, bringing their record for this year to 9-2. Saunders and Millennium will challenge Corona del Sol at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
