Amaya Moreno Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Monday, Mountain Pointe got the W thanks in part to Amaya Moreno playing the best football she has all season. Moreno threw for 434 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.1% of her passes, and also rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown. Mountain Pointe is undefeated when Moreno posts 300 or more passing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
Moreno's next matchup is against Notre Dame Prep on Wednesday, where she'll look to repeat that solid performance.
