After failing to score in their last matchup, Lakewood Ranch made sure to put some goals up on the board against Palmetto on Monday. They blew past the Palmetto Tigers 4-1. Considering the Mustangs have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lakewood Ranch has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matchups. As for Palmetto, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakewood Ranch will welcome Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cardinal Mooney's last eight contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Palmetto, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 6:00 p.m.
