Baseball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Fairview couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titusville Rockets on Monday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Fairview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vinny Campoli, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Antonio Zona also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Titusville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Fairview nor Titusville have any future games scheduled.
